I have been a self-employed artist since graduating from Trinity Christian College in 1982, and earned a Masters in Painting and Drawing in 2002. I have always enjoyed painting portraiture and children at play.. In addition to workshops, I teach Art K-6 at Timothy Christian Schools in Elmhurst and Hands on Art History for children at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools during the summer.
I am a signature member of the American Watercolor Society. I am represented by the Grand Gallery in Grand Rapids and Ada, Michigan and at the Blue Dolphin in Door County, Wisconsin. Many paintings have been purchased for permanent collections in museums, hospitals, libraries, and corporations and have been featured in a variety of books and periodicals including Splash, Best of Watercolor 2, and Watercolor Magic.
