Susan has an unending curiosity about human behavior, relationships, and a love for pets, which she tries to incorporate in her work, while she has fun playing with color, design, and composition. She enjoys working narratives into her pieces, which are often
whimsical and tongue-in-cheek. Lately Susan has been taking figures from her paintings, carving these figures, and putting them alongside her two-dimensional pieces. Sue also enjoys doing commission pieces and frequently has customers ordering carvings of their pets and personalized Santa Clauses with their pets, children, grandchildren, hobbies, or other item. She loves the creative process, because it connects her with others.Click here to view the artist at work on her new website.
